| SENSBEY'S MX SPRAY FLUXING TECHNOLOGY
MX - BUILT-IN for Integrated Operation. Within Wave Soldering Systems.
MXL - J & V - STAND-ALONE with Internal Conveyor. Easily installs in front of any wave soldering system.
MXL-O STAND-ALONE without Internal Conveyor. Easily installs over wave soldering system extended input conveyor rails.
Sensbey’ MXL - Series spray
fluxing technology is especially suitable for the application of Low Solids,
Water Based and Rosin spray
fluxes. ·
Precise control of uniform flux deposition across all widths and
lengths of boards, regardless of conveyor speed. ·
Highest efficiency through-hole penetration at lowest consumption. ·
Traversing nozzle movement is via stepper-motor driven
positioning-arm. ·
Standard spray nozzle materials are Stainless Steel. ·
MXL -J Design includes internal fume exhaust hood duct system with
filters and connects external powered exhaust provided by customer. ·
MXL -V Design upgrades internal fume exhaust duct system with
powered exhaust blower. MX-BENEFITS
· Eliminate board cleaning with use of no-clean (low solids) fluxes. · Reduce cleaning load on water-soluble fluxes. ·
Use environmentally safe low‑solids fluxes without
sacrificing quality. · Simplify operations while minimizing operating costs. Reduced over-spray. Reduced mist migration Reduced consumption · Internal exhaust duct and optional filters collects any mist. · Compared to Foam Fluxing Systems: Improved solderability by reducing excess flux deposition. No need to control flux specific gravity. Eliminate aging
associated with open reservoirs. MXL spray fluxer technology significantly
reduces the consumption of VOC based flux materials. Foaming and wave fluxing
applications require constant replenishment of evaporated IPA (isopropyl
alcohol) flux medium. The MXL system applies only the required flux to boards
and maintains supply in sealed container. This
provides two distinct advantages compared to conventional foam or wave
applications: I.
The will cut consumption of VOC material significantly for normal
production. Exact amount will be according to application but reduction is from
20 - 85%. Ii.
The required use of a flux density controller is eliminated. MX-FEATURES · Traversing spray nozzle provides uniform & thorough coating. · Low -pressure nozzle provides micron atomization. · Spray width programmable to match board size. · Digital setting allows precise spray On-Off control across boards and pallets. · Flux flow rate is precisely controlled, significantly reducing consumption. · Flow rate meter provides digital display with accuracy to the milliliter/minute. · Internal exhaust hood. Hood is designed to minimize exposure of boards, traversing mechanism and internal electrical controls to flux mist migration. (Customer facilities must provide minimum specified exhaust airflow). · Traversing assembly is mounted over containment tray to catch leaks or spills. Tray includes drain port for easy maintenance.
